Small hail in the end of March
2010年03月29日 (月) | 編集 |
It's very cold today also.

I was surprised at small hail out of the window around noon!

When I came home, Vita jumped out of bed.

Vita: Come on! Turn on a heater!

After I turn on a heater・・・

She doesn't go a single step and keeps to a heater.

Romi: You are comfortably warm at all times, aren't you?
I know you are in my bed until a while ago.

P.S. I heard she was a good cat at a new animal clinic the other day.

Snowy rain in the end of March
2010年03月24日 (水) | 編集 |
It's snowy rain!
No wonder it's cold,
while news said the cherry tree bloomed at Yasukuni shrine
 the day before yesterday.

Vita is in close contact with a heater.

I couldn't sleep well last night.
Such a weather increases the pain for my joints.

I'll go on business trip from the day after tomorrow.
I gotta prepare for it.

 The next animal clinic
2010年03月23日 (火) | 編集 |
I went to the animal clinic introduced by the previous animal clinic.

The building was white and cute.

A female staff was standing at the front counter.

I told her the reason why I went here,
and asked whether they can take care of Vita
during my trip.

She said, "OK. But it costs 2,500 yen per night."
I made a reservation one night at once.

I wonder if Vita will be a good cat in that hospital.
I'm a little worried.

Romi: Thank you very much for everything until now.
It's chocolate cookies. If you would like, please eat.

Veterinarian: Oh! Thank you very much for coming all the way here.
I'm sorry to put you to so much trouble.

Romi: Think nothing of it.

Veterinarian: I introduce you an another animal hospital instead of us.

She handed me a map of the animal hospital.

Veterinarian: We'll miss you and your cat. Because we cared Vita many times.

I had left Vita in their care every trip.

Romi: I miss you, too.

I said thank you again.

I thank a good animal clinic staffs.

"Vita, let's hope the next animal clinic is good."

 Multiple diverticulum
2010年03月20日 (土) | 編集 |
When I waked up this morning, I was OK.
It seems that all contents in my intestine finished to be removed yesterday.

I went to a clinic at 9 o'clock on schedule.

At first I was measured blood pressure.
110 and 60. It was as usual.

Next a nurse prescribed to change into a clothes
and a pants with a hole for an examination.
Then I was received an injection to stop movement of the intestine,
and I walked in a X-ray room.

A X-ray operator injected barium and air into me lying on a large examining table.

X-ray operator: Hey! Bring me one more barium!
        Not close to being enough!

Romi: (What? What do you mean?)

The examining table rotated by 90 degrees like a theme-park ride.
It took 20-30 minutes to finish.

X-ray operator: Sorry, sorry. It took long, isn't it?
Your large intestine is very long.

After change of clothes, I entered a doctor's office.

Doctor: Your large intestine is very long.
So, it was complicated like no normal pattern.

You have neither cancers nor polyps.
            But you have different disease.
            It was diverticular disease.
Look. You can see a small room outside intestine.
It was opposite side to polyps.
The wall of diverticulum is  thin like a balloon.
If this disease progresses, this diverticulum is perforated,
you are suffered from peritonitis and you have to be given surgery.
            You have multiple diverticulum.

I can see about twenty diverticulum on ascending colon, transverse colon,
descending colon and sigmoid colon.

Doctor: If this disease progress, it leads to blood in the stool.
So, your bleeding last weekend is from inside lining of anus
            during bowel movement, I think.

I was relieved since I'm not in serious condition.

I have to take care of myself not to progress this disease.

1) Avoid fatty foods.
2) Avoid hot foods.
3) Don't drink alcohol.
4) Don't be constipated.

I don't worry about 3) and 4).
I have to take care 1) and 2).

I'm hungry.
Now, what do I eat?

 The first laxative
2010年03月20日 (土) | 編集 |
100319S.JPG

These are my all diet of today.
I took laxatives in addition to these.
Because I'll have an X-ray examination of large intestine tomorrow.

Sometimes I have lost blood and felt run-down for several months.
Nonetheless, I couldn't go to proctology department for shame until last weekend.
But I lost a significant amount of blood last Sunday morning.
So, I immediately went to a clinic which opens on Sunday.

Doctor: You seem not to get piles.
There aren't hemorrhoids both inside and outside.
Just to be safe, yo had better to take an examination.

That's why I used laxatives for the first time.

My comment is ・・・
"I can't control myself!"

Much watery ・・・

Ha・・・, I was a bit surprised.

If I wet my pants during sleeping, what should I do?

・・・I'm afraid to go to sleep.

 The value of life
2010年03月16日 (火) | 編集 |
I was caught by gloomy feeling for a just moment today. It's envy or jealously.

My motto is that comparisons are odious.
The important things in life is neither the social status nor rich money.
It's an enriched humanness.
The value in my life is decided within me.
I can enrich my life more and more in the future.

 Ohuchijyuku (imagination)
2010年03月14日 (日) | 編集 |
I hit on a good idea to forget my pain and enjoy myself!
It's to image traveling.
I have many places where I want to go.
One of them is "Ouchijyuku".

http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e7710.html

Ohuchijyuku located in western area of Fukushima prefecture.
It's an old post station between "Aizu-wakamatsu" and "Nikkio".
We can still see the old cityscape.

I hardly know sightseeing places in Tohoku region.
I'll bet the dark green trees and mountains in Tohoku in summer is novel to me.

I walk around in the quiet town and eat "Negisoba".
And I want to see "Tou-no-hetsuri".
I image new green leaves are beautiful.
The best season to visit there may be early summer than midsummer.

 The pink bouquet flowers
2010年03月13日 (土) | 編集 |
I have been tired recently.
I have continuing pain in joint.
And I'm suffering from mouth inflammations as ever.
It's difficult to speak.
I hope I recover from them by the end of this month when I make a presentation.

I look at flowers at times like this.

100313S.JPG

It's for my mother's birthday.
She is 67 years old if she is alive.
I usually buy freesia which she likes, but I took this pink cute bouquet flowers.
Other flowers are OK sometimes.
